The BALL and Catch the BALL projects were carried out in a successful co-operation involving the following many European countries, Iceland, Spain, Poland, Lithuania and the UK.
The BALL partners were:
University of the Third Age, U3A Reykjavík, Iceland – a nongovernmental association of people in their third age, the years after fifty, offering programmes and a forum for non-formal learning and knowledge sharing. (see www.u3a.is)
Evris Foundation ses, Iceland – a non-profit private foundation, was founded to share Icelandic knowledge and experience with other European countries and vice versa (see www.evris.org)
Lubelski Uniwersytet Trzeciego Wieku (LUTW), Lublin, Poland – an association that works under the direct supervision of the Society of the Polish Free University, Lublin Branch. Universidad Permanente de la Universidad de Alicante (UPUA) Alicante, Spain – a scientific, cultural and social programme aimed at promoting Science and Culture and inter-generational relationships (see https://web.ua.es/en/upua/).
